Registration for the 2008 Komen National Race for the Cure is now closed.
The Race was a great success with more than 45,000 participants registering. Thank you to the DC metro area for, once again, making the nation’s capital area one of the largest Komen events and 5K races in the world.
Saturday, June 6, 2009 will mark the 20th anniversary of DC’s premier breast cancer fund-raising event. Check back later in 2008 as more details on the Race become available.
2008 RESULTS
Results are now available by clicking here. Only participants who completed the course in less than one hour were officially timed and listed in the results. If you completed the 5K run in less than an hour and are not listed please email the registration coordinator at the address below with 1) your first and last name, 2) your bib number and 3) the time frame you saw on the clock when you crossed the finish line.
2008 RACE PACKETS
Participants who did not pick up their packet or had a problem with delivery may come by the office in Arlington after Monday, June 16 and pick up their t-shirts. Photo ID is required.
2009 REGISTRATION
All 2008 registrants who used a valid mailing address will receive a 2009 registration brochure via the mail next spring. If you did not participate in 2008 and would like to be added to the registration form mailing list, please email the link below and include your full name and mailing address. 2008 participants can still log into their Race center and update mailing addresses. Please remember that office addresses often require the company name and suite number as well as quadrant inside the District.
